A giver who used a foyer terminal for the first time was asked for their details and told someone would check them. Nothing here is on file yet: every line is what the giver typed at the machine. Confirm to add them to the register and put the gifts held for them onto their record, or reject if the details are not usable. The money reached its funds either way.
Nobody can be confirmed yet. ChurchOS issues each new member the next number after the ones this church has already given out, and that highest number has not been recorded here. Until it is, confirming would risk issuing a number a long-standing member already carries on their card, so it is declined instead.
Confirming adds the person and settles their member number in one step — a giver who quoted a number from a card they already hold keeps that number, and only a giver who has never had one is issued a new one. Rejecting adds nobody and changes no money.
